Fix Sprint

One developer, one defined problem, a short window.

Ideal for A live experience with a specific defect, a broken system, or one feature that never shipped.
Team One developer
Expected duration 3-7 days
  • Luau scripting
  • Systems debugging
  • Performance and memory
  • Data stores and persistence

What you get

Everything below is written into the proposal before you fund anything.

  • A written diagnosis of the problem, including what caused it and what else it touches.
  • The fix implemented in a branch or place file you own, with the changes explained line by line.
  • A short test plan you can run yourself to confirm the behaviour in Studio and in a live server.
  • A handover note listing anything the developer found but did not fix, and what it would take.

What is not included

Stated up front so any disagreement about what is included happens now rather than at delivery.

  • No new feature work outside the agreed problem statement.
  • No art, animation, or audio production.
  • No ongoing maintenance after the sprint closes. That is LiveOps Support.
  • No Roblox moderation appeals, ad buying, or account recovery.

How delivery runs

Expected duration for this package is 3-7 days, measured from the point the project is funded rather than from the brief.

  1. Brief

You describe the symptom and share access. We confirm within 24 hours whether it is a Fix Sprint or something larger.

  2. Diagnosis

The developer reproduces the problem first and writes down the cause before proposing a change.

  3. Fix

Work happens in your repository or a copy of your place, with daily written progress in the deal room.

  4. Handover

You approve the delivery, funds release after the protection window, and you keep the diagnosis document.

How your money is protected

This package runs as a protected deal. Your money is held by VinDevs, not paid to the team up front, and is released after you approve delivery.

  1. Approve the plan first

Nothing is charged until you have read the proposal, seen who is on the team, and agreed the milestones and the price.

  2. Funds are held, not sent

You fund the project once the plan is agreed. VinDevs holds the money: the team can see it is funded and starts work, but cannot withdraw it.

  3. Delivery happens in the open

Work, files, and progress are sent to you in a shared deal room. You approve a milestone, ask for changes, or raise a dispute, and VinDevs dispute staff can read the whole record.

  4. A protection window before release

Funds stay protected for 7 days after you approve delivery, so a problem you find afterwards is still covered.

  5. Disputes are handled by staff

If you and the team cannot agree, VinDevs dispute staff review the deal room and decide. A dispute pauses the release until it is resolved.

Common questions

What if the problem turns out to be bigger than one sprint?

The developer stops and tells you. You get the written diagnosis either way, and we re-plan it as a Feature Pod rather than quietly running over.

Do I have to hand over my whole game?

No. Most Fix Sprints run on a copy of the place or a branch. What we get access to is agreed in the proposal before you fund anything.

Who owns the code?

You do. Ownership passes to you when you approve the delivery, and it is written into the agreement attached to the proposal.
